Prayer & Fasting 2026

2026 BridgeWay 40-day fast (Jan. 5 to Feb. 13, 2026)

Join us For a Season of Seeking the Lord with Prayer and Fasting

God invites His people to co-labor with Him through prayer in bringing about His will upon the earth and for their lives. This co-laboring relationship is found as we listen to His heart and then co-labor with Him by declaring what God is saying and by obeying His promptings with immediacy.

The Lord has spoken that a great acceleration in His Kingdom purposes will be occurring in 2026 and the coming years, amidst continued shaking in the world. He has invited us to a necessary time to pause to let go of the old (old ways of doing things, old ways of thinking, etc.) so that we can apprehend God’s new ways and mindsets. We are corporately asking God what to let go of or shift as we approach life and ministry. We ae also asking what He wants to do that is new and how He wants us to operate in new ways in the new era that has come upon the church.

BridgeWay’s Leadership is calling 40 days of prayer and fasting (as led) for a time of seeking His face for the upcoming season. We sense a far greater need and weight upon this time of prayer and fasting than in past years. Will you join us?

Please seek the Lord personally for how you are to fast (i.e. certain foods or meals, a Daniel fast, media or negativity fast, added time to seek Him, etc.). As you fast, we encourage you to seek the Lord both for your season as well as that of BridgeWay’s. We will have corporate opportunities to share and discern together how we are to move forward.

Plan and schedule an extra time to seek the Lord during the fast. If possible, take time daily. As you prepare to seek the Lord for your season, consider this prophetic understanding of what God is making available for the coming year.

Six BridgeWay Prayer Foci

1. What God is Saying to BridgeWay? (We want to hear from you!!)

God has spoken that to move into the new season that He has for BridgeWay, “the old must be set aside in order to embrace the new”. Please seek God about this for yourself and for BridgeWay. What specifically is God saying to us in this regard?

Please give us a note with what you hear God saying by completing the form below, emailing us at pray@bridgeway.us, or dropping us a note in the offering boxes. Thank you.

2. Church Leadership (Peter, our other pastors and staff, all our ministry leaders, our elders, and board, all other not yet mentioned leaders and assistants.)

For wisdom and direction, spiritual health, clarity of vision, protection, unity, alignment, and communication.

3. God’s Presence and Power in Worship, Preaching, Ministry and Intercession.

Pray for unprecedented Presence and power in all aspects of our Sunday morning worship service.

4. Renewal, Revival, Repentance.

· Pray for yourself and others that are weary or dull spiritually to be refreshed and renewed in vision, passion, and spiritual vitality with the Lord.

· Pray for regional revival with a mighty ingathering of souls.

· Pray for repentance to come to those living in sin, with fear, an enemy focus, victim mindset, limiting beliefs, false identity, wounded hearts, stuck in pain, etc. to come into righteousness and victorious mindsets.

5. Provision Financially and For New Leadership and Volunteers.

Please pay for an increase in our tithe base and for new leaders and volunteers.

6. God’s Leading for Two New Ministry Initiatives.

· The Wave Service – God has spoken to us about a regional renewal and equipping service Sunday nights. This service starts March 1, 2026. Ask for God’s transformative presence, power, and a regional reach. Ask for God’s guidance in planning. Please jot down prophetic senses about this venue and submit it to pray@bridgeway.us or drop a note in the sanctuary offering boxes.

· Relaunch of CSKM – Our former regional Kingdom Ministry equipping school will relaunch in August 2026 with new part-time and full-time formats. Pray for the planning team for God’s guidance and wisdom how to restructure and add/delete content and focus for the new season. Ask for God’s transformative presence, power, and a regional reach.
