BRIDGEWAY COURSES

We teach and equip the saints for the work of ministry, for the edifying of the body of Christ, till we all come to the unity of the faith and of the knowledge of the Son of God. (Eph 4:12)

Discipleship Foundations

The BridgeWay Pastoral team is excited to offer a class beginning March 2, 2025, every Sunday for 18 weeks from 12:15 – 1:15 am that will ground all of our congregation in the foundations of Christian Discipleship. We will be talking about the nature of God himself, as well as things that help us grow spiritually, our Christian character, spiritual disciplines, and what it looks like to live our faith daily. The topics differ from those of “Fire Starters” and “Kingdom Ministry Training.” If you want to be sure you have a solid theological foundation and practical wisdom for day-to-day Christian discipleship, this is for you.

Sex, Church and Culture

Sex, Church, and Culture is a comprehensive exploration of Christian perspectives on sexuality, marriage, and singleness, compiled from the insightful sermons of Dr. Peter Young. This course tackles important and often sensitive topics that are crucial to understanding how believers are called to navigate issues related to gender, sexuality, and relationships. Beginning with a foundational understanding of Gender, Sexuality, and Marriage, the course explores biblical principles for sexual purity, the healing of past wounds, and celibacy.

Christ and Culture

The Christ and Culture course, compiled from the powerful sermons of Dr. Peter Young, is designed to explore how modern-day disciples are called to navigate and engage with today’s complex cultural landscape. This course begins with foundational lessons on How Disciples Live in Today’s Culture, examining how worldviews shape cultural divides and how Satan strategically polarizes them. Students will learn the importance of prioritizing love, mercy, and compassion over legalism, as well as Jesus’ model of showing initiative toward outcasts.
